Most people know that Apple is hosting an even September 1st, their traditional Fall music event. Here are some things that we can expect and/or are rumored to be released at this event:

iPod Touch: Look for a flat back design with the possibility of a front facing camera for wifi facetime calls. Almost certain this will happen.

iPod Nano: Form factor change is possible, using a small touchscreen that surfaced last spring. Hopefully this isn’t the case; most people I have a feeling enjoy an actual click wheel and tactile buttons, in addition to the more durable design of the current nano over a glass faced device.

iPod Shuffle: This iPod may be the target of that small touchscreen.

iPod Classic: Nothing may happen to this iPod. If anything it will be a hard drive size increase, a move to solid state storage, or elimination from Apple’s iPod line.
