Pages class offered from MacXprts-Kansas at iCafe

Whether you are a professional writer, a student, or anything in between, this class will teach you more about using Pages to create a variety of documents.  If you’ve been to our Free Fridays at Four on iWork, then you’ve already had a brief introduction to Pages.  If you are looking for further education on the topic, this class series will teach you how to master Pages.  Students will

• learn how to use the inspector to modify document format
• learn how to use the media browser to find and import photos into documents
• learn how to add tables & charts to a document
• learn how to create an outline and use outline mode
• learn how to use styles
• learn how to share documents with other people
• create their own stationary, envelopes & business cards
• create a report/scrapbook/resume (as appropriate)
• create a newsletter/brochure/flyer
• create their own personalized template for future use
• create a document and share it with others

This will be a multi-part class taught by Cindy Bracker Sturm. Each session will cost $25.00

Cindy Bracker Sturm is an Apple Certified iWork Associate.  Before first learning iWork three years ago, Cindy used the iWork predecessor, Appleworks for over ten years.  She has used Pages to create a variety of brochures, pamphlets, flyers, letters, quotes, presentations, ads, business cards, and her biggest project to date, a 16 page conference guide for the Kansas Art Education Association Conference in 2008.  Cindy is also the owner of iCafe and a graduate of the University of Kansas.  She lives in Lawrence with her husband and three kids.
